Feb. 1 was World Read Aloud Day! Mrs. Bonesteel’s 2nd graders were given the opportunity to read aloud, a book of their choice, to the class. Most students participated and it was awesome! Students were able to hear new books and genres, just for the purpose of enjoying books! We had so much fun, and several students have asked to do it again! Reading is such an important factor in academic success, it was amazing to see them enjoying new literature! #proudcardinal
