Our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders learned about antibiotic resistance from the Michigan Antibiotic Resistance Reduction Coalition (MARR) and did an experiment to see how well they washed their hands. The results were mixed ... yikes! #proudcardinal

Today is Science Day at the elementary school. Students saw a baby tarantula named Legs and learned that tarantulas do not bite but may sting, similar to a bee sting but stronger. We also saw Slither the snake, Roly, a Brazilian Three Banded Armadillo, and Nico, the world famous crying Yellow Naped Amazon parrot. 6th grade finished their Social Studies Unit on Asia with a classroom debate. Each student picked a country in Asia and had to convince their peers that their country was the best culture in Asia. Students went head to head in a bracket style showdown! Congratulations to Madelyn, who convinced us that Nepal was the best culture in Asia! #proudcardinal
