Sixth graders have a water cycle unit challenge about how to fix flooding in a town, so Mr Calvert came in and showed my students how city water, sewer, and sanitary systems work in our county! They got to interact with 3 different maps and learn the process of how and where water is flowing in our area. #proudcardinal

Mr. Peyerk's #proudcardinal Practical Math class created sales ads to practice working with percentages in the real world. Each student had an item that included sales tax, a discounted item, and a marked-up item in their ads. They also practiced leaving tips at restaurants by creating their favorite Dryden Coney Island orders.
