First graders are learning all about maps and had a wonderful time exploring the world through Google Earth! We even visited Dryden Elementary!
We are also becoming better readers everyday and one of our favorite parts of the day is getting to read to our book-themed stuffies!
Our first Ed Camp at the elementary was a success! Parents attended 3 short sessions on how to support learning at home. Thanks to Mrs. Roys, Mrs. Knox, and Mrs. White for facilitating!

Mrs. Sawicki’s BK/Kdg students are learning about reading strategies. At the end of each reader’s workshop lesson, at least one student is chosen to share what they read.
