In GSRP, students are learning all about Community Helpers. Dr. Atkinson visited all the classes where she explained what type of Doctor she is. Friends brought in their stuffed animals and she modeled how to check them and make sure they are healthy. Dr. Atkinson brought in an X-Ray and a heart of an animal to show our friends what it looks like and a glimpse of her day to day working with animals. Mrs. Boreo explained to our friends the importance of her job. She brought in an activity for friends to create their own house, how to work a lock box and reading off the signs that are in yards for sale. Together we spelled the word "Pool" and how exciting that word can be to adults. Each friend left with a goodie bag and another activity to do at home with their family. #proudcardinal

This month, GSRP is learning all about community helpers. Mr. and Mrs. Cloos visited Mrs. Rhodes' friends and talked about fire safety and the importance of matching socks. Both lessons are important to know to keep your home safe and organized.
