Welcome to Dryden Elementary School; this is where it all begins!    

My name is Stacey Abromaitis, and I am the new principal.  I could not be more excited to be here - once a cardinal, ALWAYS a cardinal!  I grew up in Dryden, attended school K-12 here, am a local business owner, and reside with my family right here in town. My children attend(ed) Dryden Schools, and I am actively involved in the school and community.  I received my undergraduate degree from UM-Flint and my master's degree in Public Administration (Education Administration) from The University of Michigan.  Before coming here, I was a classroom teacher for almost 27 years.  It is safe to say that education is my passion!  

Our vision is to build on the already amazing things we have going on and move our school to the next level to emerge as the top local elementary school.  We will focus on creating and maintaining a positive school culture, instilling and nurturing a growth mindset for all, and making data driven decisions.  To set the foundation, we will have high expectations of ourselves and our students, hold each other accountable, and work collaboratively to contribute positively to the local and global community and empower our students to become productive 21st century adults.
